Now regarding the items that we need to carry - it would depend on the season and specific weather condition. If you choose to hire a private jeep from Pokhara to Muktinath, the cost can range from NPR 32,000 to NPR 48,000 for a 2-3 days trip. The public vehicle can range from NPR 1200 to NPR 1800 from Kathmandu to Pokhara, whereas the cost ranges from NPR 1100 - NPR 1300 from Pokhara to Jomsom. You would need an additional NPR 500 to NPR 700 from either a shared jeep or bus from Jomsom to the final destination Muktinath. 

Now as we mentioned you also need a permit for Muktinath as it lies in the Annapurna Conservation area. For ACAP fee, you would need NPR 3000 which would generally be valid for one month as a single entry. Regarding hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Muktinath; it really depends on the type of stay and services you prefer. The hotel stays normally range from NPR 1500 to NPR 6000, although there is no such limit for the prices.
